For some sound effects...or songs that get me into Foxtrot's head you can look up the song Still Here by Superchick, Thistle and Weeds by Mumford and Sons, or Down by Jason Walker. (yeah, all those sound real uplifting...right?)

So that's a little bit about the world my characters run around in. I'm pretty sure it's not a place I want to live, but I seem to be spending quite a bit of time there. My characters make it bearable.

Ohmygosh that's so cool! This looks like my kind of world. For KtLO, I've been amassing inspiration pics for a private Tumblr...not sure I'm ready to share at the moment, but pictures are a BIG part of my imaginative process. Which is funny because I'm not a visual learner. But seeing these pictures already made me feel like I have a great sense of your world!

ReplyDeleteI may not be as visual as you, but for me the bunker/barracks/hospital shot really solidified my idea of what his world is like.
Annalise---okay fill me in, cause I'm sometimes internet illiterate, what is a tumbler? I worked at a china shop for years and all I can think of is a small glass. I actually am not a big person in the whole picture thing but I thought it would be a good blog post.
